Who We Are

Future Pathways Development Initiative (FPDI) is an independent, pan-African organization established to inspire reforms and strengthen governance outcomes across Africa through impactful, citizen-centred policy. FPDI is set to operate across all 54 African countries, transcending political ideologies, economic interests, and religious affiliations to shape a more inclusive, accountable, and prosperous continent.

Why We Exist

Africa is at a turning point. Despite abundant resources and a growing youth population, the continent continues to grapple with weak governance systems, ineffective policy implementation, and low citizen engagement. FPDI was founded to address these systemic issues by advancing governance reforms and equipping institutions and citizens with the tools to co-create policy solutions that work.
